Department of Botany of DAV College Chandigarh organised plantation drive in the Botanical garden as a part of ongoing Van Mahaotasava . The plantation began with the planting of Rudaraksh Sapling. Various saplings of different plants like chandni, palash, moringa, amaltas, madhumalti, thuja, sita ashok etc.were also planted in the garden by the faculty members. This all happened due to the laudable efforts of department of Botany.
