DAV College, Sector 10, Chandigarh, true to its great legacy, proudly achieved a momentous success when we lifted Trophies as Overall Champions in Sports ( both Men as well as Women) category. It's a rare achievement and first in the history of Punjab University when a college has bagged both the championships. In one of these pictures, our wonderful family of teachers working in the Department of Physical Education stand shoulder to shoulder together in one uniform with the chief Guest Dr D P Singh, former Chairman UGC and NAAC, former Vice Chancellor of many Universities including Banaras Hindu University and Punjab University Vice Chancellor, along with a big haul of trophies won. We as a team are on a mission. With a great past, we promise to produce great champions for our nation as always. We wish a great future for these sports men and women and hope that they make the entire nation proud by their feats at international level just like many of our Alumni such as Kapil Dev, Yuvraj, Neeraj Chopra and many others.
