The We-shakha Women Cell of DAV College, organized a talk on “Women Rights : Role of men and society in the life that gives life”

Large number of students and teachers of the college joined the event. Ramniet S Mukherjee, as the speaker of the event who is a UN Awardee, International MSME Growth Coach & Motivational Speaker hailing from City beautiful Chandigarh delivered her talk as an interactive session with the students and faculty members. Ms. Ramniet is a renowned TedX Speaker and is presently on the panel of IIT. is also Chairperson Anti Crime cell of Human Rights Munch as well as heading as the Vice Chairperson for International Human Rights Promotion Council under the aegis of Ministry of Home affairs Govt of India. She is first and only specially-abled women who went to Uttarakhand in 2013 and was appreciated for the same by the Hon. Vice President of India. She is recipient of many awards and recently was recognised with two eminent awards International Icon of the year for community service 2022 and Bharat Rising Star 2023. Prof. Rita Jain, Principal, DAV College, welcomed the speaker and addressed the students and teachers present in the Main Auditorium to attend the event. The convener of the women's cell Dr. Kakoli Biswas introduced the speaker to the audience and thanked her team members Dr. Kulvir Dhindsa and Dr. Shivani Bedi for their support.
She shared her thoughts that Universe always listens and help you fight the war of justice. She also talked about her belief that all living beings deserve equal right to live and prosper together without any gender bias or racism or being. The session was extremely successful and was appreciated by students and faculty members alike.
